Een zussenuitje voor de Spaanse prinsessen Leonor en Sofía. Dit weekend werden ze samen in Londen gezien bij het EK vrouwenvoetbal om hun nationale team wat royal aanmoedigingen te geven.
Samen op de tribune
Prinses Leonor (16) reist lekker heen en weer. Vorige maand verruilde ze haar kostschool in het Verenigd Koninkrijk voor thuisland Spanje, maar nu is de troonopvolgster weer in Londen te vinden. Afgelopen weekend woonde ze daar samen met zusje Sofía (15) de voetbalwedstrijd Denemarken-Spanje bij.
Zussenuitje
Het lijkt om een uitje van de prinsessen samen te gaan, want hun ouders werden niet gespot in het stadion of in de Britse hoofdstad. Niet dat Leonor en Sofía helemaal incognito gingen, hun bezoek was duidelijk voorbereid. Zo mochten ze na de wedstrijd de spelers ontmoeten in de kleedkamer en kregen de prinsessen ook hun eigen voetbalshirt.

Gelukkig hadden de prinsessen iets te vieren, want het Spaanse elftal won de wedstrijd. Als Leonor en Sofía nog even in het VK blijven hangen, kunnen ze woensdag ook de kwartfinale tussen Engeland en Spanje kijken.
Vakantie?
De Spaanse tieners worden deze zomervakantie hard aan het werk gezet. Zo zagen we Leonor en Sofía eerder deze maand al meerdere dagen tijdens een prijsuitreiking. Tuurlijk, zo'n uitstapje naar Londen is hartstikke leuk, maar het komt niet zonder verplichtingen. Elke schoolvakantie is het aan de royal zussen om de populariteit van de Spaanse royals weer een beetje op te krikken. Waar zien we de prinsessen deze zomer nog meer?
